Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and must be active and in hand
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required and must be active and in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases or license hits; background check prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration assessment protocols
• Experience working in a high-volume acute care environment
