Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options ranging from 13-20 weeks

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIHSS preferred)
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start for non-RN/CST staff

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments at Cleveland Clinic locations are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a minimum 6-month break required before returning
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's Nicotine Free requirement
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
