Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a float pool position at a trauma center hospital requiring MI licensure and at least one completed travel assignment.

Details

  • Float Pool assignment within Clinical Support Services at an acute care trauma center hospital
  • Uses Paragon EMR
  • Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36-hour guarantee, no 4/12 shifts)
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of submission
  • Compact licensure not accepted
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
  • MI license verification (LARA and Nursys) required

Additional Information

  • Deliver quality nursing care through the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and plan/implement individualized care
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and maintain personal accountability for care quality and satisfaction
  • Matching scrubs required for dress code
  • Candidates requesting more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may experience delayed processing
  • Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted pay terms
  • Former McLaren full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment ending
  • Strict attendance policy in place: three absences or late arrivals over 20 minutes may result in immediate termination
