Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
• Expected to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required; co-worker references not accepted
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• PBDS Assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers considered for this position
