Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active OH or compact license and Epic experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
  • Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Traveler must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

  • Active OH RN license or compact license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
  • NIHSS certification required prior to start
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • One recent reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
  • Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
  • First-time travelers are not being considered for this role
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
