Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to manage up to a 1:6 patient ratio
• Experience with travel nursing preferred
• Comfortable floating to other units as needed, including IMC and ED
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Compassionate, positive, and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Care for patients with surgical, cardiac, and complex medical diagnoses
• Manage a typical patient load of up to 6 patients
• Support patients with conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Float to other hospital units when needed to support patient care needs
• Maintain professional documentation and uphold unit standards
