Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs
• Strong stroke assessment skills and neuro patient care experience
• Experience with post-trauma patients preferred
• Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE program required
• Ability to float as needed within the hospital
• Solid black scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to neuro and post-trauma patients
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Perform stroke scale assessments and support neurological monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Start and maintain IV access and assist with phlebotomy as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, effective outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Float to other areas as assigned while maintaining excellent patient care
