Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a Telemetry Unit role at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week assignment on the Telemetry Unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center campus
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• Every other weekend required with no on-call obligations
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk (De-Escalation Training) certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide medical/surgical and telemetry nursing care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required per facility schedule
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
