Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg-Telemetry position requiring 2 years of Med/Surg experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
13-week assignment on night shift (19:00-07:30)
Every other weekend required, with consideration given for every third weekend
Every other holiday coverage required
May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license
BLS certification (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
2 years of Med/Surg experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Current license and primary source verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

Provide medical/surgical nursing care within a telemetry unit
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
COVID vaccination is not required
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
