Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 1+ years of experience and active TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Night shift in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a Level III Trauma Center
  • Serves patients of all ages
  • Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing and Meditech EHR
  • 13-week assignment with a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift schedule
  • Every other weekend work required
  • As-needed call requirements
  • Floating to similar med/surg units may be required

Requirements

  • Active TN or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
  • IV insertion skills required
  • Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start, with results required before starting

Additional Information

  • Provide quality nursing care within a 167-bed facility accredited by The Joint Commission
  • Join a team supervised by the Nursing Director
  • Professional demeanor expected; casual attire not permitted, scrubs of any color accepted
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for this travel assignment
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Must not be employed elsewhere full time
  • Weekly orientation held on Mondays
