Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Paintsville, KY! We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for providing high-quality patient care. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg and Telemetry setting.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for efficient patient documentation and management.
• Float within the scope of practice as needed and work every other weekend.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital experience.
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current KY or compact RN license.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted (medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis).
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.

Additional Information:

• Orientation is bi-weekly.
• Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• All facilities operate on a 36/48 schedule for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted.
