We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Progressive Care Registered Nurse for a high-acuity travel assignment. This role is ideal for an RN who excels in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
- Perform detailed patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
Minimum Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required
- BLS Certification
- Strong Med Surg and/or Progressive Care experience
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent Med Surg and/or Progressive Care (PCU) experience
- BSN preferred
- Experience caring for high-acuity, medically complex patients
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
