This is a 13-week contract position.
This position requires a schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required, and self-scheduling is in place.
The Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Telemetry unit will care for adult and geriatric patients with various medical and surgical conditions. The unit is a 40-bed facility that also cares for COVID patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, IV management, and monitoring telemetry. Orientation for this position includes approximately 24 hours on the unit.
