GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.
Join a dynamic team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) at a leading healthcare facility in Rochester, NY. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive staff and excellent patient care standards.
As an MS/Tele RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac, pulmonary, and GI issues. You will work closely with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) who assist with vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living.

This position features a night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6-7 to 1 on nights, potentially stretching to 8-10 if staffing issues arise. The facility strives to accommodate block scheduling but cannot guarantee it.
Preferred scrub colors are any combination of navy and white, and charting is done using Epic. Special equipment utilized includes bladder scanners, tele, EKG machines, and lifepacks.
