Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-week night shift assignment requiring a compact RN license and prior telemetry experience.

Details

• MS/Teleemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Manages pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses Epic charting system
• May float within scope to other units or sister facilities within 75 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or OK State) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and EKG/Telemetry course
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with pacemakers, IV insulin protocols, and Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) required
• Current driver's license or state-issued ID required
• Utility bill in traveler's name with matching address within the last three months required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and IV therapy
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility
• Previous Integris employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the health system to be eligible
