Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama or a compact license
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry, telemetry nursing, or related inpatient experience preferred
• 18 months of experience may be considered with 1 year of recent specialty experience
• No temporary licenses accepted
• Comfortable providing patient-facing care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with kidney-related conditions and telemetry needs
• Support patients requiring post-hemodialysis care and ongoing peritoneal dialysis management
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary staff to support safe, coordinated inpatient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and follow unit workflows
• Float to other units or hospitals as needed to support patient care needs
• Work scheduled nights, every other weekend, and required holidays
