Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio with confidence
• ACLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a positive, compassionate attitude
• Associate degree in Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry findings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
• Support recovery for total joint, surgical, and acute-on-chronic medical patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Float to other hospital units when needed, based on patient care priorities and facility needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of nursing practice
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and reliability
