Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for acutely ill patients
• Receive admissions from the ED, PCU, and ICU
• Care for patients with sepsis, pneumonia, complex wounds, COPD, and ESRD
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days prior to assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
