Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry in Glens Falls, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to make a difference in patient care while working in a supportive environment.

Unit Details:

• Consists mainly of tele/cardiac patients
• Number of Beds in unit: 16
• RN to Patient ratio: 4:1
• Patient Population: Adult - Geriatric
• Dress code: Any color scrubs (no designs or cartoons, no hoodies)
• Remote Tele Unit

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE
• New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is required
• Completion of a 14 panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance is mandatory as of 1/1/2024
• COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift
• Follow department expectations and provide quality patient care

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Cancellation Policy: The facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract, must give 2-hour notice.

Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours

Multipliers: OT, Holidays: 1.25%
