Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med Surg unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.

• Perform advanced skills such as IV certification, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.
• Participate in bedside shift report and hourly safety rounding.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required.
• Active RN license at submission.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• Experience with telemetry and EKGs preferred.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:6, occasional 1:7 with surge
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Floating policy: Float to same level of care

Additional Information:

• Self-scheduling available, with leadership balancing schedule needs.
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color).
