Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg and Telemetry unit at a leading acute-care hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. This position requires commitment to work every other weekend and holidays as required, providing essential care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Med Surg and Telemetry settings.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.
• Float to other units/hospitals as necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree in nursing required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years overall experience in specialty; however, 18 months of experience will be considered if working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Required: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.
• Licenses: Must hold a Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted).

Additional Information:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Parking: Available for staff.
• EMR System: Meditech.
• Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy.
