Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Comprehensive Medical Unit night shift role requiring telemetry experience and current Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Works primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg boarders)
  • Night shift schedule (7p-7:30a) with every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements
  • 36 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
  • Must be able to competently read telemetry, as this will be tested on day one
  • Current Epic EMR proficiency required

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate Epic proficiency without need for refresher classes or 1:1 training
  • Telemetry reading competency will be tested on day one of assignment
  • Returning Genesis travelers within 9 months may be eligible for alternate start dates
