Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit serving patients across all age groups
• Perform IV insertion and other clinical skills required in a med/surg telemetry environment
• Administer and manage medications utilizing Omnicell dispensing systems
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
• Float to similar med/surg units as needed
• Fulfill call and weekend requirements as needed, including every-other-weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in the state of Tennessee
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
• Must clear the Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EHR platform
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center environment
