Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit with remote monitoring capabilities
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings; all RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6 while delivering safe, high-quality care
• Float to other system campuses as needed to support patient care demands
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry remote monitoring experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Time-off requests must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Charge RN experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
