Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing or cardiac nursing experience
• Experience caring for adult cardiac patients strongly preferred
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment, including Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo
• Cerner experience preferred
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Ability to work independently in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to a diverse adult cardiac patient population
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with chest pain, atrial fibrillation, CHF, and pre/post cardiac catheterization needs
• Support safe, high-quality care for patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated patient care
• Float occasionally to related units as needed
• Maintain a professional, family-oriented approach while contributing to a positive unit culture
