Soliant Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama.

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver exceptional care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to support patient wellness and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN licensure in good standing
Recent experience in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
Strong EKG monitoring and interpretation skills
Ability to respond quickly and calmly in acute situations
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
Excellent communication, assessment, and critical-thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and ongoing monitoring in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting
Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
Monitor cardiac rhythms, address arrhythmias, and intervene according to protocols
Administer medications, perform treatments, and document all care provided
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery steps
Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to coordinate care
Adhere to infection control procedures and safety standards
