**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 22
- **Patient Ratios:** 5:1 or 6:1
- **Equipment:** Welch Allyn V/S machine, Hoyer Lift w/ weight scale, Abbott Glucometer, Computers on Wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps
- **EHR:** Meditech EMR
- **Supervisor:** Clinical Staff Lead or Charge Nurse
- **Patient Population:** Adult and geriatric

**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:** EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills are a plus
- **Preferred Skillset/Experience:** Manage discharges and admissions, basic cardiac drip knowledge
- **Common Diagnosis/Treatment:** CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, Uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, Post Cardiac Cath care
- **Personality Fit:** Team-oriented and flexible
- **Required Education:** Associate degree, BSN preferred

Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates on 10/12, 10/26, and 11/9. The facility is located 45 miles east of Raleigh, 2 hours from the coast of NC, and 1 hour from major universities such as Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University.
