Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | No Call | No Mandatory 48-Hour Shifts | Block Scheduling May Be Available Upon Request

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in alignment with unit protocols
  • Document patient information accurately using Cerner EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Float to other units as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a Medical Surgical setting
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high patient ratios in an acute care setting
  • Familiarity with block scheduling workflows
