Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare and ensuring a positive patient experience. You will work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to formulate and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to hospital policies and best practices.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess a valid RN license in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required prior to start.
- Experience with IV insertion is essential.
