Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Med Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality medical-surgical telemetry care on a night schedule. Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Med/Surg Tele or related acute care RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active RN license preferred; pending license accepted before start
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with patient ratios around 1:6
• Must be able to pass required onboarding testing and compliance requirements
• Must include all requested time-off needs up front during submission
• Travelers must meet the 75-mile radius requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care for medical-surgical telemetry patients with varied acute diagnoses
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to the plan of care
• Care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, chest pain, post-operative needs, dementia, and stroke rule-outs
• Support patients requiring telemetry monitoring and related equipment management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the charting system
• Adapt to float assignments within scope while maintaining excellent clinical standards
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment that values quality and consistency
