Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring oncology experience and prior IV chemotherapy administration.

Details

• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12-hour rotation
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic arrhythmia recognition skills required
• Tele interpretation experience required
• Oncology experience required
• Prior experience administering IV chemotherapy treatment required
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry monitoring and med/surg nursing care to oncology patients receiving IV chemotherapy treatment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Returning contingent workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break per facility HR tenure policy
• Former permanent staff must be separated from employment for 6 months to be eligible for a travel assignment
