Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a fast-paced observation unit position requiring 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• 24-bed telemetry observation unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Department
• Patient population includes hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD cases
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Deliver compassionate, clinically strong care to a short-stay patient population
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates consideration, though at a potentially reduced rate depending on distance from facility
