Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MS/Telemetry RN for a float pool day-shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Float pool position requiring willingness to float between four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• MS/Telemetry unit caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide shift-based nursing care following the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning safe patient care delivery
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities commensurate with staff education and experience
• Any scrub color permitted
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Former CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
