Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience and MA RN licensure.

Details

  • Float Pool position covering Med/Surg Telemetry floors throughout the hospital
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
  • Weekends and holidays expected
  • Will float to like units and overflow areas as needed

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
  • Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed (85% passing score, no remediation)
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
  • Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths preferred

Additional Information

  • Biweekly orientation schedule
  • Must document and present all RTO requests at time of consideration
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
  • Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month separation from any BILH facility before being considered
  • Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
