Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of medical-surgical experience.

Details

• Float Pool position covering medical-surgical and telemetry units
• 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 36 hours per week over a 4-week assignment
• Med/Surg ratios are 5:1 (7a-11p) and 6:1 (11p-7a)
• Telemetry ratios are 4:1 (7a-11p) and 5:1 (11p-7a)
• Self-scheduling process managed by the unit with travelers filling open shift needs

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• 2+ years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency tests
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical and telemetry units as part of the float pool team
• No RTO permitted during this assignment
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• First-time travelers are not eligible; prior travel experience is required
