Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital setting requiring an Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm), 3x12-hour shifts
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license - Ohio or Compact required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required (no coworker references accepted)
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Certifications must be active and in hand, not pending
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Any background check hits are reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Travel experience not required, so first-time travelers may be considered
