Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a Magnet and Teaching Hospital, recognized for its commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs.
• Manage drains, monitor flaps post-op, and provide tracheostomy/total laryngectomy care.
• Administer tube feeding, perform phlebotomy, IV access, and Central Line Management.
• Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring.
• Care for patients with Cuffed/Cuffless Tracheostomies, Total Laryngectomies, Carotid Blow Out Precautions, and Free Flap Patients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN; will consider 1+ year with Level I/Teaching Facility experience.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS.
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
• Must be open to floating within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Must have no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
• Pending licenses accepted.
