Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and 12 months of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary to meet operational needs of the hospital
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to a Med/Surg Tele population, including telemetry monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
