Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with at least 1 year of specialty experience for a hospital position on a rotating day/night schedule.
Details
- Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
- Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
- Rotating shift schedule: nights 7pm-7:30am and days 7am-7:30pm
- Shifts may vary to meet hospital operational needs, though preferred shift will be honored when possible
- Required to work at least every other holiday
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
- Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a passing score
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
- Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
- Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
- Any background check hits will be reviewed, but open cases will not be accepted
- Professional license hits are not accepted
