Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shifts (3x12 hours): 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the hospital
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• 18-week assignment for winter coverage, with 13-week terms also accepted

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical telemetry patients
• Complete facility-required modules prior to start and annually, with hours varying by specialty
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Travel experience not required, first-time travelers may be considered
