Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN with 1-2 years of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with telemetry patients in a 46-bed unit (40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds)
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30), 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios of 5-6 during days and 6-7 during nights
• Float as needed to Surge Unit or Emergency Department to manage overflow Med/Surg patients
• Weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, up to every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Unit supported by admission/discharge nurse, patient ambulator, and 24/7 on-site respiratory therapy and security
• No dedicated IV team or RRT team

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg telemetry patients
• Collaborate with support staff for admissions, discharges, and patient ambulation as needed
