Schedule

Rotating shifts between Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and Day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) for 3x12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care for patients in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit and may float to other units as needed, including the Emergency Department. You will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on telemetry.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and perform patient assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State License required.
• Current AHA or Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
