Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2525.20
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4-5 during day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and 1:5-6 during night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Nursing assistants present with ratios of 1:8-12 during day shift
• Care for post-surgical patients including orthopedic, urology, GYN/ONC, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, ENT, plastics, and GI cases
• Acute medical patients with short anticipated length of stay may also be admitted to the unit
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin, and occasionally nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and insulin
• Telemetry monitoring system (GE) with strips run and monitored by remote technicians
• Charge nurse takes assignment on all shifts with house supervisor present on all shifts
• Respiratory therapy support present; equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen therapy - no vents
• Float required to other adult medical/surgical nursing units
• Any color scrubs, clean and professional appearance required
• Charting system: Cerner
• 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• 15-bed unit
• Trauma Level 2 facility
Facility:
This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive medical-surgical unit with 15 beds. The unit supports a wide range of post-surgical specialties and acute medical cases, with dedicated charge nurses and house supervisors on every shift. The facility provides robust support staff including nursing assistants and respiratory therapy, ensuring a well-rounded care environment for both patients and clinical staff.
