• Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Strong adaptability and willingness to float to similar patient care areas when needed
• Ability to work a rotating schedule and contribute to a collaborative healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement safe, patient-centered care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Support unit flow by floating to similar patient populations when assigned
• Participate in orientation, required competencies, and ongoing unit safety processes
