Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or a closely related acute care specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
• One qualifying reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete orientation assessments with an acceptable score
• Comfort working a rotating schedule in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Willingness to float to similar units and care for the same patient population when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med-Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess ECG changes, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver safe, compassionate bedside care using strong clinical judgment and teamwork
• Support related units as needed, including similar patient populations and the ED when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices
• Adapt to a dynamic clinical environment and contribute to a dependable, patient-focused nursing team
