Join a leading acute-care hospital in Cleveland, OH, as a Med Surg and Telemetry Registered Nurse. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will care for patients, including those on ventilators. You will have the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the ED, providing care to a diverse patient population.

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be expected to work rotating shifts, including nights and days, with shifts of 12 hours. The facility will do its best to honor your preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate you if necessary to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
