GHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Potential to accommodate block scheduling, but it will not be guaranteed
• Weekend requirement includes 4 weekend shifts per 6-week period (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays), along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays
• No approved time off from 12/15/2026 through 1/5/2027
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac cath and managing ports required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Active Kentucky or compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Primary role supports ED boarders (patients waiting for an inpatient bed) and floats to observation units as needed
• Potential to float between campuses and to Observation, Med/Surg, and Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed
• Required skills include accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management, PICC line management, pre and post cardiac cath, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• Scrubs must be navy blue with no agency or brand logos
• No nose rings or gauged earrings permitted
• Natural fingernails required for direct patient care staff; length must be less than 1/4 inch; polish is acceptable
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• No cafeteria on-site; refrigerator and microwave provided

This healthcare facility is a multi-campus health system offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. The facility supports patients across a variety of care settings including emergency, observation, medical-surgical, and telemetry units. Interdisciplinary support services include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for clinical staff.
