Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring at least one year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem employees cannot return to the facility for 1 year from their previous end date
