Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Scheduling: Block scheduling is not available.
- Alternative Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts may be considered if available.
- Floating: Required based on facility needs.
Weekend & Holiday Requirements
- Every other weekend.
- Every other holiday.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry experience.
- Recent experience within the past year is required.
- Strong clinical skills in:
- Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
- Rapid Response and Code Team activation.
- Peripheral IV line care and management.
- Nasal cannula and oxygen administration, including oxygen tanks.
- Non-invasive airway management.
- Isolation precautions.
License & Certifications
- License: New York (NY) RN license.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Candidates who have already applied for a New York RN license may still be submitted. The license application submission date must be provided.
- Candidates with disqualifying findings on their nursing license will not be accepted.
Pay Information
- Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a bill rate that is $15 lower than the standard travel rate.
Time-Off Policy
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
- RTO requested after the offer will not be approved.
- Travelers are responsible for arranging coverage for any additional shifts they cannot work.
Call-Off Policy
- The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment.
