Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent Epic experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

  • Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Travelers expected to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) required and active, no pending certifications accepted
  • Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
  • Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
  • One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
  • Co-worker references not accepted

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
  • Candidates with open background check cases or any professional license hits will not be considered
  • Permanent or per diem employees must wait one year from their previous end date before returning to this health system
  • Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
